Buckeyes dismiss linebacker

Linebacker K'Vaughan Pope's Buckeye career is over. The senior was dismissed from the team after a sideline incident in Ohio State's 59-7 win over Akron on Saturday. Pope was waived off by another linebacker when he tried to enter the game in the second quarter. He then threw his gloves into the stands and tried to take off his jersey before he was brought into the locker room. Pope also posted profanities directed against Ohio State on Twitter during the game. Pope apologized Sunday for his "tweet" and for his actions, but had been already dismissed from the team.
