Southeastern High School Volleyball Coach Lori Koker is being inducted into the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Coach Koker is currently in her 22nd year of coaching and has accumulated a 388-168 win/loss record.
Prior to her time at Southeastern, Koker coached at Westfall where she earned a record of 273-86, and at Zane Trace where she went 92-63. Her current win/loss record at Southeastern is 23-19.
Over the course of her coaching career, Koker has led her teams to 18 sectional championships, 12 district championships, 3 District runner-up titles, 3 regional championships, 2 regional runner-up titles, 3 SVC titles and 3 Final Four appearances in 2003, 2004 and 2005. She has also been a three-time earner each of the SVC Coach of the Year, and OHSVCA Coach’s Achievement awards. She’s also a recipient of 5 District Coach of the Year awards. Koker was inducted into the Westfall Hall of Fame in 2017.
Student athletes, colleagues and those who know Lori Koker have said she’s a coach who cares about her players, invests in them, and pushes them both on and off the court.
Koker has been an active member in the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association. She is a fourteen-time District 14 Trustee and was a member of the Executive Board for three years. At the local level, Koker assists with organizing and operating the District 14 All-Star match.
Koker is a graduate of Chillicothe High School where she was a three-sport athlete, playing softball, basketball and volleyball. She led her Cavs Volleyball team in Assists, Aces and Serving in 1983.
