A fire Monday evening in Circleville has claimed a life. The blaze at the home in the 300 block of Logan Street was first reported in just before 7:30 last night. Circleville police arrived at the scene first, but due to the heavy smoke coming from the fire they could not enter the structure. The victim of the fire was later located in one of the two apartments that made up the structure. No word on the cause of the fire, the investigation is underway.
