New Food Bank Focused on Veterans and Active Military Open in Washington CH

There’s a new food pantry open to veterans and active-duty military in Washington CH. The grand opening ceremony for the new Military Chow Hall Food Pantry at 212 East Elm Street in Washington CH took place this past Saturday.

The new pantry touts a mission to reduce food insecurity within the veteran and active-duty military community in Washington CH and its surrounding areas.

The Military Chow Hall is a non-profit organization. It operates on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

A copy of a service member’s DD214, proof of address, and a photo ID are required to received meals through the Military Chow Hall Food Pantry.
