We often see reports of Dogs running at large in Ross County, but here's something you don't normally see: The Ross County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to the area of Roosevelt Drive in reference to a large tortoise roaming on the loose. When the deputy arrived at a bout 5:30pm thursday, there was indeed a large toroise found outside. The Deputy was able to contain the animal until rescue services could respond.
