Toby Keith tops Forbes's list of the Highest Paid Country Musicians for 2014.
Toby has brought home a staggering $65 million over the past 12 months, edging out Taylor Swift, who had a $64 million payday. Kenny Chesney took $44-million to the bank and ranks third. Rounding out the Top 5 are Jason Aldean with $37 million and Luke Bryan with $34 million.
Forbes bases its figures on record sales, shows, endorsement deals and investments in other businesses. Here's the complete list:
I'm a true Southern boy who's grown up on country music. Born and raised in South Carolina, I grew up in a small town (Newberry). I went to college then started my first radio "gig" working all night in Charlotte.
I'm married with 3 kids. In my spare time I like to play golf, fish when I can, play drums, and watch my kids do anything.
My claim to fame is I had to go up against William "The Fridge" Perry in high school football. Still have nightmares about it.
