Ross County Treasurer Jerry Byers says they offer extended office hours the week of February 12th to help you get first-half property tax payments paid on time.
Extended office hours at the courthouse will be 8:30am to 6pm Monday through Friday.
Deputy Treasurer Lynn Rose says they also have various options to make payments of these taxes, if you are unable to make the entire payment by the deadline. She also says it is better to pay something on time, rather than try to make installment payments on the entire amount. There is a 10% penalty on the amount that is delinquent.
