An officer with the Chillicothe Police Department has been placed on paid administrative leave following an unspecified Use of Force incident at the Ross County Jail on Thursday morning.
The department did not reveal the nature of the incident but say they have requested BCI conduct a criminal investigation. Once that investigation has concluded, an Internal Affairs investigation will begin.
The officer involved in Thursday's incident has not been identified.
