The Ross County General Health District is promoting National Public Health Week, to detail what they do locally for better health in the area. This comes a year after the district experienced major budget cutbacks in 2017.

Avery says they serve as a collaborator with other health entities in the community, to get the best public health for residents of Chillicothe and Ross County.
