Area high school baseball teams have impressed the state coaches association enough, to tank two SVC teams in the Top 10 and mention a few others in the Top 20.
In Division 2 of the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Poll, Unioto is ranked 7th and Zane Trace 8th. The Shermans weer ranked higher, despite losing their lone match-up with the Pioneers.
Miami Trace is ranked 16th in D-2, Bloom Carroll is tied for 17th. Waverly received the 24th highest number of voting points.
In Division 3, Wheelersburg is tied for 20th, Adena is 22nd, West Union 27th and Paint Valley is 30th.
Whiteoak is second in Division 4, Portsmouth Clay is 11th
