A Scioto County man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night, which also involved a man from Circleville.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports the 10pm crash on State Route 104 near McDermott, claimed the life of 29-year-old Robert R. Simpson of McDermott.
Simpson was traveling south on State Route 104, when he went left-of-center and struck another vehicle driven by 59-year-old Robert Sargent of Circleville.
Simpson was transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Sargent received serious non-life threatening injuries and was flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital.
