Archaeologists have more evidence of people living near Circleville, from as much as 4,000 years ago.
The "Circleville Herald" says an electromagnetic scan was done near the farmhouse of Mount Oval which found remnants from ancient societies, including fire pits for cooking.
The property owner had left the land in her will to the Pickaway County Historical Society.
An official with Ohio Valley Archaeology said Thursday the next step with the findings would be a full archaeological study.
