A Tire & Electronic Recycling event is set to take place this Saturday in Pickaway County.
The Ross Pickaway Highland Fayette Solid Waste District will conduct the recycling event this Saturday, May 19th from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Engineer’s Garage at 1660 Island Road in Circleville.
They’ll be disposing up to five passenger and light truck tires for free with a $3.00 fee for each additional tire. There’s a charge of $10.00 for truck tires 19.5” to 24.5”. Disposal of Farm Tractor tires will be $35.00 per tire.
A second Tire & Electronics Recycling event will take place at the Ross County Fairgrounds from 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16th.
Two more recycling efforts will then take place in Highland County in August. The first will be Saturday, August 4th from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the BMV/JFS lot at 1575 N. High St. in Hillsboro.
The second takes place from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Premier Grain located at 116 S. Fairfield St. in Leesburg.
The fifth and final Tire and Electronics Recycling Event will be held in Fayette County on Saturday, September 8th at the Fayette County Fairgrounds from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
