The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred Sunday at approximately 4:50pm on State Route 689 near Wilkesville.
A pickup truck driven by 56-year-old Randy Barney of Wilkesville, failed to negotiate a curve going off the right side of the road. His vehicle struck some trees then rolled over onto its right side.
Barney was flown to Grant Hospital in Columbus by Med Flight Helicopter with serious incapacitating injuries.
