The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall heads to Chillicothe in September. The exhibit, known as "The Wall That Heals," is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Officials say it allows the souls enshrined on the Memorial to exist once more among family and friends in the peace and comfort of familiar surroundings. The Wall also comes with a mobile education center that features a timeline of "The War and The Wall" and provides additional information about the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
The Traveling Vietnam Memorial will be on display at VA Memorial Stadium on the campus of the Chillicothe VA from September 20 through September 23, available to the public 24 hours a day.
An opening ceremony for the Traveling Wall will take place at noon on September 20.
