The Ross County Grand Jury on Friday returned three open indictments.
Cody F. Ginter, 30, of Kingston, has been charged with a fourth-degree misdemeanor count of Criminal Trespass.
The incident took place on July 3rd when Ginter was found on property at 50 Challenger Court. Ross County Sheriff’s deputies had already been called to the home after the activation of an alarm but had found no one around. After being called to the property for a second time, deputies found Ginter standing in the backyard of the property. Ginter admitted to breaking in to a garage on the property but was not found to be in possession of any items.
If convicted, Ginter could serve up to 30 days in jail with a fine of $250.
Felisha Ann Coonrod, 33, of Piketon, faces a second-degree felony for Aggravated Possession of Drugs.
Coonrod was stopped while driving along U.S. 23 on April 4th for suspicion of driving under suspension. The investigating Highway Patrol Trooper, noticed Coonrod attempting to move something around in the center console of the vehicle when he approached, which a search soon revealed to be 17.72 grams of methamphetamine.
Coonrod could be sentenced to serve up to 8 years with a fine of $15,000 if convicted.
Coonrod is currently serving a prison sentence on an unrelated charge.
Jamie A. Annon, 37, of Chillicothe, has been indicted on two third-degree felony counts of Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs.
Annon was stopped by authorities on July 1st after he was spotted weaving in and out of his lane while traveling north along State Route 159.
Annon was found to have a blood-alcohol content of .17, slightly more than double the legal limit. Annon has a previous conviction for Driving Under the Influence from 2012.
If convicted, Annon could serve up to 5 years with a $10,000 fine.
