The Unioto Shermans continued their dominance over the SVC Golf landscape Thursday, sweeping their way to a second straight conference title, their 10th in the last 11 years, and 19th in SVC history.
Unioto won the final two rounds of play at Cook Creek, shooting a team score 159 in Match #7 and a 166 in Match #8. Westfall was second in both rounds at 163 and 171.
Despite finishing runner-up as medalist in both matches, Unioto's Ty Schobelock is the SVC "Player of the Year" with the lowest average score over eight matches.
Denzell Endicott of Piketon was Match #7 medal winner with a 36 and Unioto's Jacob Calvin equaled that score in Match #8 to take medalist honors.
