Despite steady light rain throughout the day, the McClain Lady Tigers braved the elements to win the Division 2 Sectional Golf Tournament at Chillicothe Jaycees Golf Course, Monday.
McClain shot a team score of 438 to outdistance the field. North Adams and Logan Elm also qualified for the district tournament, finishing in the top three.
Westfall freshman Maddi Shoults qualified with the lowest individual score of 84. Other individuals not on a qualifying team that will advance, include Rachel Schuler of Leesburg Fairfield with an 89 and Lindsey Daniel of West Union with a 91.
