Reading enthusiasts have an opportunity to pick up some new reading material during the first week of October.
The American Association of University Women holds its Used Book Sale from October 2nd to October 6th at 80 East Main Street. That's located at the corner of Main & Mulberry Streets in downtown Chillicothe.
Tuesday, October 2nd is First Choice Night for the sale. It runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a $5.00 fee. The sale then takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday with no admission charge. On Saturday, the sale takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., again with no charge for admission.
If you'd like to donate to the sale, book barrels are located around the Chillicothe area at Autumn Woods Club House, Trinity United Methodist Church, Corner Market, Sparkle Cleaners, Schlegel's and Henderson's Pharmacy.
Proceeds from the sale are used to proved educational scholarships for Ross County women and girls.
