Two SVC boys golf teams are state tournament bound, after taking 1-2 at the Division 2 District Tournament Wednesday at Crown Hill Golf Course.
The Shermans shot a team score of 331, led by Jacob Calvin's 74 and Ty Schobelock's 75. Other Unioto team members are: Levi Gerber, Tristan Steinbrook and Quade Kaltenback.
Westfall also qualified with a 337, led by Josh Cook and Jack Latham, who each shot 82's. Other Mustangs team members are: Brayton Felger, Matthew Walker and Parker Thornton.
Piketon finished 5th, which was out of the money to qualify for state, being that the top two teams advance.
