A Waverly man was killed in a two vehicle crash in Pee Pee Township Tuesday evening.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that a Freightliner Semi driven by 48-year-old Willie Wilson of Lawrenceville, Georgia was turning northbound onto U.S. Route 23 from a private drive when it failed to yield and was struck by a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Shannon Sparks of Waverly.
Mr. Sparks died from his injuries at the scene. Mr. Wilson was not injured.
