Five more SVC volleyball teams added their names to the list of sectional champions, joining (8-15) Paint Valley, who won a Division 4 title Thursday over Western by scores of 23-25, 25-14, 25-16, 22-25, 15-7.
On Saturday, (22-2) Unioto won a Division 2 title with a 25-14, 25-16, 25-8 sweep of Vinton County.
In Division 3, (21-3) Southeastern gained a sweep of Nelsonville York with identical 25-21, 25-21, 25-21 scores.
(18-5) Zane Trace swept New Lexington 25-17, 25-12, 25-16.
(16-8) Huntington beat conference foe (7-17) Piketon 25-7, 25-23, 25-16.
(9-14) Adena rallied from a (0-2) deficit to beat (18-5) Minford by scores of 16-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-15, 15-12. The Warriors have the longest sectional championship streak in the area at 30 straight titles. Adena's last sectional tournament match loss coming to Paint Valley back in 1988.
Unbeaten and state ranked (24-0) Wheelersburg ended (8-14) Westfall's season with a 25-19, 20-25, 25-9, 25-23 victory.
In Girls Soccer, Westfall had already claimed a sectional title on Thursday with a 2-1 win over Peebles, with Unioto joining in with an 8-1 win over Hillsboro on Saturday.
