The Southeast District Athletic Board of Control has made time changes for Saturday's Division 2 and Division 3 District Championship matches, due to schools also playing earlier that day in the district soccer finals.
Unioto Girls Soccer is playing Fairfield Union at Jackson High School, beginning at 3pm, while both Wheelersburg and Alexander have girls soccer teams playing at Waverly Downtown Stadium at 3pm and 5pm, respectively.
Changes had already been made concerning the D-3 Volleyball Finals at Waverly, but Leonard Steyer of the district board announced Friday morning that the D-2 Volleyball Final would also be moved to a later start time.
Here are the new start times for volleyball:
Division 2 District Final at Southeastern High School:
Unioto vs Sheridan- 6pm (94 Country WKKJ broadcast airtime now 5:45pm)
Division 3 District Finals at Waverly High School:
Southeastern vs Zane Trace- 5pm (score updates on WKKJ & Twitter)
Wheelersburg vs Alexander- 7pm
Division 4 District Finals at Jackson High School:
Portsmouth Clay vs Eastern Meigs- 3pm
Paint Valley vs Portsmouth Notre Dame (follows Match 1- score updates on WKKJ & Twitter)
