The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle injury crash that occurred on U.S. Route 50 near State Route 41 in Ross County, Ohio, at approximately 10:54am on Sunday, November 4th.
A bicycle, ridden by 34-year-old Ernest Martin of Bainbridge, was traveling east on Route 50 when he was rear-ended by a pick-up truck driven by 30-year-old Chad Morris of Bainbridge.
Morris failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck Martin from the rear.
Martin was transported by Health Net helicopter to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center with serious injuries.
