A Sabina was killed as the result of a head-on crash in Clinton County, late Friday afternoon.
The Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says Richard Steiner, 69, of Sabina, was northbound on State Route 72 in a 2001 Chevy S-10 pickup truck when he collided head-on with a southbound 2016 Kia Sportage operated by Joshua McKinley, 27, of Hillsboro around 4:40 p.m. Friday near mile marker 12.
Mr. Steiner was pronounced dead at the scene while Mr. McKinley was flown by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries. Two juvenile passengers in McKinley's vehicle were evaluated at nearby hospitals.
The crash remains under investigation.
