Singer and songwriter John Berry has tonsil cancer. He made the announcement today (Tuesday) via a YouTube video to his fans.
The cancer is highly treatable and has a 90 percent cure rate.
Late last year, he had a catch in his throat that felt like the skin of a Spanish peanut. After several rounds of antibiotics, the cancer was discovered.
John will undergo five weeks of treatment.
