Third Victim in Londonderry Area Assaults Dies, Sheriff Identifies Victims

Three people are now dead as the result of two separate attacks in Ross County.

Ross County Sheriff George Lavender says the investigation into the incidents that took place Monday, February 4th in the Londonderry area is ongoing.

Sheriff's deputies were called to a Vigo Road residence on Monday afternoon where they found two people had been violently assaulted. They were then soon informed of a second crime scene at a home on Bowman Lane, where two other people had been fatally shot.

Those killed Monday have been identified by the sheriff's office as Leann Potts, 46; Thomas Littler, 63; and Rick Adam, 50. The three victims are in the care and custody of the Ross County Coroner’s Office. The exact cause of death is pending autopsy results. A fourth victim remains hospitalized.

The Ross County Sheriff has contacted Attorney General Dave Yost and requested assistance from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).

Investigators from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. 23 Major Crimes Task Force, and BCI continue working around the clock. Investigators have executed multiple search warrants, and conducted multiple interviews. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
