Repair work to a portion of High Street in Chillicothe gets underway this Tuesday.

Chillicothe Mayor Luke Feeney, along with the city engineering department, says the work will require a two-day closure of High Street, from Mill Street to Water Street.

The closure will take effect at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30th and should be lifted around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1st.

Southbound motorists will be detoured from High Street to Mill Street to Yoctangee Boulevard to Water Street. Motorists traveling northbound will be detoured from Water Street to Yoctangee Boulevard to Mill Street to High Street.

Parking restrictions during the project will be strictly enforced.
