If recommendations are approved by the Southeastern Local School Board of Education Monday, the Panthers will have new head coaches for boys and girls varsity basketball programs. Recommendations have been made to hire two former Southeastern basketball stars to lead these programs.

Mike Adams would go from leading the girls basketball program to coaching the Panthers Boys Basketball program, and Doug Hice will step up from his assistant coaching role with the Lady Panthers, to become their new varsity head coach.

Adams was the 1989 SVC Player of the Year and a member of Southeastern's Final Four squad in 1990, while later being a three-time SVC Girls Basketball Coach of the Year.

Doug Hice was an all conference Panther in the mid 1980's.
