A portion of U.S. 42 in Madison County will be subject to a week-long closure next week. According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, U.S. 42 will close just south of State Route 29 for pavement repair and widening of the road’s shoulders on Monday, June 24th. The closure will remain in effect through 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1st weather permitting.

Officials say traffic along State Route 29 will be maintained but reduced to one lane of two-way traffic with the use of flaggers.
