Hillsboro Storm Damage

.

Straight line winds with gusts of approximately 60 miles per hour appeared to be the cause of windows being blown out at the Highland County Senior Center in Hillsboro, Monday evening.

.

Center director Michelle Frost said the windows in the Center were blown out along with windows in a building across the street, on Muntz Street. Ceiling tiles also fell off and other damage was reported as well, according to Frost.

.

Neighboring Pike County had a Tornado Warning issued soon after in the area of Morgantown, but there has been no confirmed reports of a twister touching down.
