An investigation is underway into a single-vehicle crash in Jackson County. According to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, authorities were called to an abandoned crash on Sour Run Road, east of US 35, on Thursday evening. Authorities said the driver, Stephen Tennant, 41, of Chillicothe, arrived on scene with laceration injuries and a knife.

After learning there had been another person in the vehicle and "due to the lack of information concerning the injuries sustained by the driver," authorities said they began a manhunt for passenger Jennifer Steele, 31, of Wellston, who was found after several hours.

Authorities said Steele did not have any injuries, while Tennant was evaluated by EMS.
