Ross 4-H STEM Programs Benefit From Flour-BWXT Donation

-

Local 4-H programs in Ross County will benefit from a recent donation by Flour-BWXT. The company has made a donation of $1,000 for STEM education at the 4-H level. That's Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

-

The company also purchased a total of seven animal projects during the livestock sales at this year’s Ross County Fair, at a total of $2,050, which also benefits the 4-H.

-

Fluor-BWXT’s STEM grant provides Ross County 4-H clubs with new material and services meant to aid the “In School and Out of School STEM Club” programs.

-

“We appreciate the important role 4-H plays for the youth in our community,” said Bob Smith, Fluor-BWXT Site Project Director. “This is a wonderful way to help 4-H members explore new learning opportunities in agriculture and science.”
