Friday's Ross County Grand Jury returned 28 of their 29 cases Friday, with seven open.

In Friday's Grand Jury, a Ross County man earned 10 counts against him over two months, most for domestic violence and burglary against his pregnant girlfriend.

According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, on July 6th, 37-year-old Paul Yancey of Crouse Chapel Road assaulted his girlfriend who was 24 weeks pregnant. She said her then-live-in-boyfriend punched her in the stomach after she brought up an issue, then covered her mouth so she could not breathe.

Yancey then returned twice August 14th, punching holes in the walls, kicking in a door, and taking medications. He was served with a "stay away" order August 19th. But he returned to his former girlfriend September 6th, awakening her with a 20-minute assault.

For indictments on the 10 counts, Yancey could get up to 27 years and $65,000 in fines.

In another case, the Ross County Prosecutor says a resident of DeBord Road reported he had returned home to find an unfamiliar car in the driveway.

He then saw 50-year-old Timothy L. Cox of Shaffer Road in Huntington Township, and 47-year-old Stacey L. Cradlebaugh of Wilt Road in Vinton County, walk from behind his house. Cox dropped a firearm and the two fled in their car, crashing into the resident's vehicle on the way out.

The victim recognized Cradlebaugh, and she was later found in a camper where the car was parked on Union Lane in Union Township. Long guns and other items stolen from the victim were found there.

For indictments of burglary, each could get up to eight years and $15,000 in fines.
