(24-7 News) -- Hocking County Prosecutor Benjamin Fickel says his office will try two teenagers as adults in connection to the death of Victoria Schafer.

Fickel announced the decision Wednesday, saying the charges are appropriate based on evidence in the case.

Schafer died on Labor Day as she took senior photos of high school students near Old Man's Cave at Hocking Hills State Park.

The two 16-year-olds are accused of pushing a 74-pound log off a cliff above Old Man's Cave, which then landed on Schafer and killed her.
