Washington Court House City Council-member Steve Jennings had some exciting news during Wednesday nights meeting of the City of Washington Court House Council. It had to do with the cities purchase of the Water system Plant in 1996.
.
Jennings told council that the final payment on a 25-year loan to obtain the plant was made, which now frees up $800,000 per year for the city to use those funds elsewhere.
.
In a separate note on the Waste Water Treatment Plant, City Manager Joe Denen says work on that is well underway and says the eventual completion of that project will spell positive results for many years to come, for the community. Water and waste water treatment are huge draws for potential development for any community.
