Ohio State Football fans will be glued to the television the evening of December 28th and that has caused a number of area schools to move or consider moving their scheduled evening basketball games for that date.

Among the biggest local boys basketball games facing this dilemma, is the monster match-up between unbeaten Zane Trace at Chillicothe. The game was scheduled for the evening of the 28th, the same time the Buckeyes and Tigers are playing in the College Football National Semifinal, which kicks-off shortly after 8pm.

Chillicothe High School Athletic Administrator Michael Barren has confirmed to iHeart Media Sports that they have moved their home game with the Pioneers to Friday, December 27th.

Unioto has announced they are pushing their boys game at Fairfield Union up to the afternoon, with freshmen getting it started at noon with the JV and varsity to follow.

Westfall at Circleville boys basketball game has been moved up. Freshman will start at 11:45 with JV to follow. Varsity will start at approximately 2:30

Vinton County at Washington CH boys are also looking at a possible change. Other AD's say they are looking at similar time or date changes, but nothing else to announce at this time.
