Former New York City mayor and Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg was in Ross County Friday.
Our affiliate ABC 6 Columbus reports he first got coffee with Chillicothe Mayor Luke Feeney before attending a roundtable discussion on opioids involving Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.
Despite improvements statewide, Ross County saw an increase in drug overdose deaths - around 28% higher.
While Bloomberg's events were closed to the public, ABC 6 planned to speak with the candidate.
Local news media were not informed of the visit.
