Verdant Creations Opens Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Chillicothe on Jan. 9
Alternative pain relief will be available in Ross County, with tomorrow's opening of Verdant Creations' medical marijuana dispensary located at 1641 N. Bridge St. in Chillicothe. The dispensary offers a wide selection of pharmaceutical-grade medical marijuana for patients suffering from any of Ohio's 21 approved medical conditions.

- Sickle cell anemia
- Spinal cord disease or injury
- Tourette’s syndrome
- Traumatic brain injury
- Ulcerative colitis.
"We're excited to finally open our doors in Chillicothe and provide an alternative form of relief that so many patients desperately need," said Corey Poches, Verdant Creations managing partner. "Our knowledgeable staff and trained patient care specialists are here to help guide patients in their choice of the medical cannabis product that will most appropriately treat their symptoms."
Patients will have access to a full suite of products, including flower, edibles, vape pens/cartridges, oral sprays, pills and transdermal patches. Patients can also purchase pre-packaged 2.83-gram drams of dried flower product used for vaporization.
The dispensary’s hours of operation are 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
The facility offers private one-on-one consultation areas where patients can feel more comfortable discussing their symptoms and exploring the appropriate marijuana products with qualified professionals.
Approved patients are reminded to confirm their recommendation from a certified doctor within the state registry. Patients must also bring a state-issued ID card along with their registry barcode in order to enter the dispensary.
In addition to its Chillicothe dispensary, Verdant Creations has opened medical marijuana dispensaries in Cincinnati, Columbus, Marion and Newark.
