A semi driver was hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Piketon, Thursday. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Johnathan Drew, 29, of Kentucky, was driving a commercial semi truck along State Route 32 when he lost control in a curve, went off road, and crashed into a ditch and several trees.
Drew got out of the vehicle on his own, but he was flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
State Route 32 was closed intermittently for about 3 hours while safety crews worked to clear the scene, officials said.
