The Ross County Commissioners have followed suit earlier enacted by the federal and state governments, in declaring the county is in a "state of emergency". This action allows the county to have authority to "take whatever emergency action is needed to protect lives and property the people of Ross County and the restoration of local government with minimum of interruption."
The order also states that "All operating forces will direct their communications and requests for assistance and operations directly to the Emergency Operations Center".
The action went into effect Monday, March 30th.
The Pickaway County Commissioners declared State of Emergency for their county, Tuesday at their regularly scheduled meeting.
