The Ross County Health District is reporting that there are 29 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ross County residents. The reported cases are for Ross County residents only.
Not all confirmed cases were tested at Adena Health System and Adena may have additional confirmed cases that are not Ross County residents as they serve a multi-county region.
At the time of this release, there have been 267 Ross County residents tested, 29 confirmed positive, 215 negative, and 22 suspected (waiting on test results). Those confirmed with COVID-19 range in ages 19-76. There are 18 males and 11 females. Seven of the 29 confirmed positive are hospitalized.
The Health District’s infectious disease staff continue following established contact tracing guidelines and will contact anyone these individuals have been in close contact with. It has been confirmed there is community spread in Ross County.

In Pickaway County, as 2pm Tuesday, April 21st, there are a total of 13,725 COVID-19 cases in Ohio and 557 deaths. There are 1,635 confirmed cases in Pickaway County, 37 hospitalizations, and 5 deaths.

ODH website shows Fayette County still at 13 confirmed cases and Highland County at 7, Pike 2, Jackson 5 and Hocking County at 4.
