(24/7 News) -- Southern Ohio residents might have been awakened to a small earthquake Saturday. The U.S. Geological Survey says an earthquake was detected near Portsmouth.
The 2.6 magnitude earthquake was reported in Portsmouth near the Southern Ohio Medical Center, according to the USGS. Reports say the quake happened at about 6:30am Saturday at a depth of 10 miles below ground.
There have been no reports of damage at this time.
