A Wellston man was killed in a one car crash in Jackson County Monday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle fatal crash on State Route 124, which occurred at approximately 6:45pm.
47-year-old Joshua S. Watterson was traveling westbound on State Route 124, when he drove off the right side of the road, over-corrected traveling across the road and struck a guardrail. The vehicle overturned ejecting him from the car. Watterson was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Jackson County Coroner.
Route 124 was closed for approximately three hours for investigation.
