ODOT Seeks Public Comments on Scioto Trails Bridge Replacement

The Ohio Department of Transportation-District 9’s Planning Department Environmental Office is seeking public input for a bridge replacement in Scioto Trail State Forest.

It is proposed to replace an existing structure at the 0.02 mile mark in Scioto Trail State Forest. The project is located in a rural area of Franklin Township, Ross County. No homes or businesses will be removed, no new right-of-way will be needed for the project. The roadway will be closed for the duration of the project.

The funding for the project is 100% State. The environmental commitment date is this July 10th and the project is currently expected to be awarded December 14th of this year.
