Circleville City Council met in regular session Tuesday night by teleconference, with all but one member present. The agenda was light with only three readings presided over.
The first, a second reading from the finance committee on adopting the city budget for 2021, was held for a third reading at the July seventh meeting.
Two other readings were adopted and passed, both first readings. One was a resolution authorizing downtown merchants to utilize sidewalks, streets and alleys for 2020 events, and the other by the Safety Director to enter into a mutual Police agreement with other municipalities to obtain and provide protection and support in times of an emergency.
