Some Ohio counties have seen a recent up-tick in confirmed COVID-19 cases and Pickaway County is one of them.
Pickaway now sits at 58 active COVID-19 cases and 6 people hospitalized, as of July 6th. This is the highest number of active cases outside of the Pickaway Correction facilities that Pickaway has seen.
According to Susan Foster Director of Clinical Services Pickaway County Public Health, they have seen a rise in cases due to the expanded testing but due to the reopening of businesses, recreation, restaurants and bars.
