The Board of Directors for the Chillicothe Halloween Festival has unanimously agreed to cancel the 2020 festival.
A press release from the board stated their decision was intended "to protect the community, along with the vendors and volunteers who operate the festival.
The statement continued; “With the uncertainty of the pandemic along with restrictions, it was unknown what the situation would be in a couple of months to be able to provide a safe and quality festival”.
The board intends to return to the fall festival in 2021.
