The Pickaway County Sheriff's office report they have become aware of a possible scam involving callers claiming to represent the Pickaway County Health Department. They say there are positive COVID patients in the area, and that the department will be coming to their residence to do COVID testing.
According to the Health Department, they do NOT go to the homes of residents to do COVID testing, and residents are urged NOT to give personal information over the phone.
The Caller ID has reportedly come up as "Possible Spam" to the few residents who have received the calls.
