A new report from National Education Association shows Ohio pays its teachers more than 33 other states but less than the national average. According to data released yesterday by the NEA, Ohio's teachers make an average of 61,700 dollars per year, while the national average stands at 65,100 dollars. The Buckeye state pays its teachers less than neighbors Michigan and Pennsylvania but more than West Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky.
